3483-1 Begin with the study of self, which may be best done by suggestive forces to the body through hypnosis.

-5748-6 Only those who have been called may truly understand. Who then has been called? Whosoever will make himself a channel may be raised to that of a blessing that is all that entity-body is able to comprehend. Who, having his whole measure full, would desire more does so to his own undoing.

275-33 the entity's own periods there were rather the harps shaped as today, except they were much smaller and only carried then sixteen (16) strings.
In the period when there were the preparations for the return (to be sure, we are dealing more with the material activity which is called history today), and when the return began, the entity Ai-Si joined with those that returned to Egypt proper; for the tenets and activities of the priest had enjoined the entity to do service in those activities during the period.
When there became the necessity of establishing the temples where there were the studies of the combinations of diet - as in purifying the body from the blood, and the smearing of the flesh took on such activities as to remove scourges that arose from certain characters of diet; and there were brought through the feedings more symmetrical and harmonious proportions in the bodies of those that were in thought or work or service among those that prepared themselves - the entity Ai-Si began to be among the leaders in such activities; and also joined in the temple music.
For, in the period, there was the Temple of Sacrifice; or that wherein the body was shed of the animal representations through the sacrificing of the desires of the appetite, through the CHANGING of self in the temple service.
There was also the Temple Beautiful, wherein those labored who were released gradually of those appurtenances that would hinder; as the feathers fell away, the hair was removed here or there, the claws and the bills and the hoofs - and the like - began to disappear. These gave place, then, in the Temple Beautiful; and the entity was the leader then in what today would be termed the orchestra, or of those that made music for those as they swayed in body-movement - as in the chants that aided in the individual raising the thoughts in the praise of that power which impelled through THINKING (as would be termed today), or the attuning of the spiritual selves to the attunement of the universal forces.
And, in this manner, the entity became one very closely associated with the priest; in placing individuals, and in giving to individuals their activity in the various spheres.
Hence the entity may in the present, when attuning self through its exercises in music, arouse within the inner self those latent abilities where there may be attunement with the soul, of the inner self that has been builded. For, as an individual attunes itself to that which it has attained, even at a MOMENT of time, there is aroused the abilities to KNOW even that which WAS known through the experience.
1158-10 Page 6 We find in that experience when an associate with Leonardo da Vinci, especially. In some of his mechanical inventions, as well as in the painting called "The Last Supper" the entity now called Teslof applied much of that as is the composition of that immortal painting. 24. We are through for the present.
3976-10 Not by a great deal is the present condition the most serious of even the present civilization, for this point was passed in the fall of '29 (twenty-nine) when there was given into the hands of two - yea three individuals - the FINANCIAL conditions and situations of the world. These represent as two upon the one side, ONE upon the dark side - or dark forces. There must be first the return to a STANDARD by which such IS to be judged, and then there may be gradually worked out that of a plausible, equitable, applicable situation in the affairs of the world. These must be considered (the world's affairs) as a UNIT, and NOT as a whole, for there are conditions and developments in the present that are of the UNIT MAKING conditions in the financial and political conditions of the earth. 294-185 In the experience there is shown that there is not only the whole armor of the Lord as a defense, but the chariot of the Lord that would take wings upon time to show - to make thee know - that His promises abide.
1523-4 14. And such influences will be felt THROUGHOUT the activities of what ye call the ages - as they are in the present because of the MANNER in which the emotions are aroused in the minds and the hearts and the beings, physically, mentally and spiritually, of all ye contact.
15. Know, then, that ye possess a weapon; in that ye may make or use such an influence for good or for woe.
707-1 Thine first incoming in the earth was during those periods of the Atlanteans that made for the divisions. Hence, counting in time, some twenty thousand years. [By divisions, I believe he is referring to the time man was divided into male and female, and the confusion of multiple languages began, and the Tower of Babel was left unfinished.]

The entity then was among the peoples that were of ONE in Atlantis, that journeyed to Egypt and aided in those establishments of the experimentations that dealt with the principles of plant AND animal, rather than mineral, as to the applications of these principles to the curative forces in human ills; and may be said to have been upon the staff of the hospitalizations that were established during that building up in that period.

(A) To keep in line that shown thee in the mount. The mount - that in the meditation in the spiritual things.
29. (Q) Am I doing this work now?
(A) Excellent!
30. (Q) Why was the Psychonograph given me? [GD's note: See [440] series re experiments with this machine.]
(A) That there may be the testing in self as to the aims, the desires, the purposes in the inner self; for it will mean much to many men, to many peoples, in finding themselves through the cleansing of the impurities in their physical being.
31. (Q) Should I do "public" work with it, lecturing, etc., or use it in a sanitarium, or use it in a private office?
(A) In its perfected form, as is seen to be in the keeping, the greater number may be reached by going to those and lecturing and showing how others may use and apply it in their associations, but with same comes those responsibilities that must be shouldered - that would be beyond that of using it in any one place. It is WORTHY of being given to many.

Then give it, and shoulder the responsibility, but know that - as has been given - to gain the process, or to gain the laudation even of thine fellow man, and to lose thine own association, is as NAUGHT.
32. (Q) Should I confine myself to the psychological or the physical work with it? (A) They MUST include both, to be sure, but the greater 490-1 press or stress - naturally - must be made in going to others on the physical - but the necessity of the psychological, and of the SPIRITUAL, that must come with it, in its use, may be given. See?
33. (Q) Should I go to Florida to do the work? If not, where?
(A) The surroundings, the conditions there, to be sure, lend that for the greater experimentations in the perfected apparatus, but in its development - the present environs or surroundings would be better for the development or FOR the experimentations, see?
34. (Q) Should it be used in sanitarium work? I do not understand.
(A) May be used in sanitarium work, but the BODY - [490] should TAKE same to others, see, and not confine self ALONE to sanitarium work. Lecture on same! Present same, for it has its place! Do that!
35. We are through for the present.

(A) Born in 1913.

(A) Bartholomew.

(A) Joseph - I, Joseph, would counsel you thus. These, my son, the words of the Master, even as spoken through the Beloved in that of His record. Read them there.
25. (Q) Why is it, Father Joseph, that it seems at times impossible for me to get the counsel from you, that at other times comes so readily?
(A) Oft is the reticence, my son, produced by the surroundings, that prevent the gathering close together.
